"Blessed are those who mourn..."

This is probably the most ignored of the Beatitudes. No one wants to Grieve, after all. But life brings losses of all types: Loss of loved ones, of health/abilities, dreams, careers, relationships, marriages, family... Jesus warned us that we will have trouble in this life. And many times trouble JUST HURTS... and many people don't know what to do or where to go with that hurt...

"For they shall be comforted!"

We believe that the Church should be the Safest Place where Griefs and Losses of all kinds can be processed, with the power of God's Word, the comfort of Jesus' presence and the loving support of others who have also been there.
